wow thanks God for this, you helped me a lot, because first English is not my 1st language and second I was always singing the same Good Morning song during circle time and my kids enjoy it, but I wanted diversity and I found it, thank you.

Hi, I am doing a presentation in my ECE program for circle time. Just wondering if you can give me any suggestions of what songs to use for ending circle time. A song that I can sing to finish off circle time in the middle of the day and going on another activity. Thanks!

Hi! I am starting a preschool. Can somebody tell me that should we repeat one activity in a pre K class. For example should we repeat the same story or small group or large group activity. If yes! then how many times should we repeat an activity. My second question is that approximately how many activities should we do in a 2 week long theme.

@EvilKnevil1972-Hi Marissa, if you could do a full circle, that would be great! I havent done one in 1 1/2yrs and I will be working in a daycare again soon. One for toddlers and preschoolers would be wonderful! Your videos have helped me so much already, thank you for posting them! Thanks again!

hi my name is jolanda an i was wondering if u can do a clean up song

LaChinita1019 January 28, 2012 at 1:42 am

Wow, this works! I tried this last week with our 2-year old classroom, and they loved it. They are now starting to know that this song means we are about to begin our circle time.

Do you have any more songs that get preschoolers’ attention like this song? It’d be great if you could upload some more…I’m worried the kids would start to get tired of it after a while.

I LOVE your song.
I have a class demo on Wendsday at 7 AM
I´m not a teacher and have never been infront of a
group before.
Need to introduce a caracter. But my mind is blank.
Any ideas?.
By the way I´m in Mexico City.

Marisa…you are awesome! I’m starting to teach pre-k and I didn’t have a starting point for the songs and circle routine and you saved me. These videos are wonderful. I can’t wait to check out your web site too ;-)

Hello, thanks for all your comments. I have the lyrics posted on the comments section here on the video. Enjoy! :)

EvilKnevil1972 January 28, 2012 at 5:02 am

Lyrics

Hello to everyone and how are you today?
We’ve come to our circle time to laugh and sing and play.
And when your up your up.
And when your down your down.
And when your only half way up your neither up nor down.
So roll your hands so slowly,
And roll them oh so fast.
Give your hands a clap clap clap, and fold them in your lap.
Tap, tap.

Thank you so much!! This week was my first week as a preschool teacher and the first few days I was having trouble getting the children to circle time, having never done this AT ALL!! College just does not prepare you for this… anyway, used it today, worked like a charm!! I am sooo happy! Again, thank you for posting all of your videos they are ALL very helpful!.

I understand that it is easier, but for many teachers in other countries (i work in Sri Lanka) it is more valid to watch skills being taught and used with children. I do a lot of demo activities both for pre-school and TEFL and try to video as many as I can. Maybe a few videos in the classroom would add to the value of your youtube extracts.

EvilKnevil1972 January 28, 2012 at 6:50 am

Actually, her videos seem to be quite effective based on all the positive comments we receive from our visitors.

We simply supply new and fun ways of teaching….we are not recreating the classroom-we leave that up to the indivduals who watch and enjoy our videos..

EvilKnevil1972 January 28, 2012 at 6:54 am

Does Marisa teach??? You must be newer to our channel of preschool videos?..She wouldn’t be spending time instructing people on new ideas if she wasn’t involved in teaching children.
She was on the Deans’ List 2 years in a row…Unfortunately bringing a video camera in to the preschool classroom isn’t possible and really not necessary.

her videos are as realistic as sitting in a college classroom and being instructed. There are certainly no children there.
